Spring is in the air, and March is full of events, challenges and opportunities for KidLit writers of all ages, sizes, and experience. It doesn’t matter what shoes you wear, there’s an opportunity here for you!

FOR PICTURE BOOK WRITERS: Check out Picture Book Range, an online class through The Writing Barn on March 1.

FOR CHAPTER BOOK WRITERS: Take the Chapter Book Challenge for the month of March!

FOR MG AND YA WRITERS: Don’t miss the Advanced YA and MG Workshop with Agent Sally LaPolla on March 2.

FOR ILLUSTRATORS: Check out the Illustrator’s Conference: “Elevate Your Art” in Salt Lake City on March 7.

FOR POETS: Think about attending the Finding Your Muse in the Woods intensive at the Highlights Foundation in Milanville March 22-25.

Also, this month, don’t miss #PITMAD on March 5 and several grant and award deadlines at the end of the month. My list of March events is below, but feel free to check out the entire list of KidLit Events at www.carolynbfraiser.com/forwriters.

If you know of an event that is not on the list, please let me know.
